In the past, the higher the number of spectators on the WRC stages, the more spectator-related problems there were, which often led to the WRC stage to being cancelled or the rally cars passing at road speed etc.

In my opinion WRC at present is better run with lower number of spectators on the stages, it may reduce the number of idiot spectators on the stages. The spectator groups that stand in the wrong places, even after being told to move, The individual 'thrill seeking' spectators laying on the ground in front of cars and other idiot incidents.

Some of these 2024 WRC Croatia stages would not run in other countries (where the spectators are up the bank in trees) because the spectators are not in designated spectator areas.

The wrc cars running on carbon fuel has the potential to attract the attention of the hand-gluers. The higher the profile of the wrc sport the more likely this is to happen.
